Privacy policy
Effective from 17 October 2026.
1. Who processes your data
The data controller is MEDIA DIGITAL BUSINESS L.L.C.-FZ, registration number (CIF) 015913191, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact for data matters: [email protected].
szpontland.pl is aimed at people in Poland and the European Union, so we process data under the GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) and send commercial messages under the rules of Polish electronic communications law.
2. What we collect and why
- Email address and phone number you enter in the key request: to send you messages about Szpontland (opening, news, invitations) by email and SMS. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Push notification subscription (the address issued by your browser and its encryption keys): to send you notifications in your browser. Basis: the consent you give in your browser.
- Date and time of consent, chosen language, entry source and a hash of your IP address: to document consent and protect the form from abuse. We do not store the raw IP address. Basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing data is voluntary. Without an email or phone we cannot message you, but you can use the site without signing up.
3. How long we keep data
Until you withdraw consent or the Szpontland project ends, and no longer than 3 years from the last contact. A push subscription is also removed when your browser invalidates it.
4. Who receives the data
Data is stored on a server in Poland (seohost.pl). To send emails and SMS we may use providers of those services operating in the European Union. Push notifications are delivered by your browser vendor's services (e.g. Google, Apple, Mozilla) under their own policies. We do not sell data.
The controller is established outside the European Economic Area. The controller's access to the data relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and additional safeguards (encrypted connections only, access limited to the people who need it).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it). An email to [email protected] is enough; push notifications can also be turned off in your browser settings. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office, uodo.gov.pl) or your local authority.
6. Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. It stores in your browser only your chosen language and the files needed to run the site as an app (cache of the site's own files). These are strictly necessary for the service.
7. Changes
When we change this policy, the new version appears on this page with a new date. We will inform you about material changes using the contact details you provided.
